Changing a Ride You or Your Team Requested
If you or someone in your organization booked the ride and you need to change your ride time, here's what you should know:
- If the pickup time is more than 24 hours away, you can adjust the time with no penalty or in the Onward app or Onward Dashboard. Just select the ride from the Upcoming Rides view and choose cancel or cancel and rebook to rebook the ride at a new time. There will be no charge.
- If the pickup time is less than 24 hours away, we will try our best to accommodate the change. If we are unable to accommodate the adjustment, we will cancel the ride and you may be charged $25 per our Cancelation Policy.
- If the pickup time is less than 2 hours away, in many cases we will be unable to accommodate the last-minute change. Onward is not an On-Demand service in all geographies. Rides can be fulfilled as planned or we will cancel the ride and you may be charged the full estimated amount of the ride, capped at $50, per our Cancellation Policy.
Changing a Ride that was Booked on Your Behalf
If the ride was booked on your behalf, please first contact the trip coordinator, to request to cancel your ride. Detail about the trip coordinator may be found in ride confirmation emails or text messages.
