Unaccompanied Minors Policy

For safety and legal reasons, a rider must be at least 18 years of age to have an Onward account and request rides.

Children 17 or younger are not permitted to ride without being accompanied by an adult (18+). If a driver is not sure of the passenger’s age, the driver must request to see the rider’s identification.

If a rider is a minor and is not accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older, or and refuses to show identification, the driver must contact the Onward Concierge team immediately to cancel the ride.

Additionally, if the driver suspects that a ride request was made on behalf of an unaccompanied minor, contact Onward Concierge. Drivers will not be penalized for cancelled rides relating to unaccompanied minors.
