In Onward our trip Coordinators can book 3 different ride types, 1) One Way; 2) Wait and Return; and 3) Deliveries. For wait and return rides, Driver must (a) remain visible and easily accessible at the drop-off location until the Rider is ready for the return-portion of his/her/their trip; and (b) not run any personal errands or attempt to complete any other trips while waiting. You can identify a Wait and Return trip by looking at the ride type bubble that appears next to the ride date and time as shown in the image below.
When completing a Wait and Return trip Companion Drivers should:
Remember, often our Riders have mobility support needs, cognitive impairment, or other ailments that require them to have someone with them for the duration of their trip. As Companions we should stay with Riders for the duration of their trip for their safety. |
